Fans met them at the airport at 3 AM, and got to chat with a drunk Jon Cooper -- I love how [his tie is totally askew in the video](http://video.lightning.nhl.com/videocenter/console?id=826954&catid=55&ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), with no fucks given. Second, I'm grateful for Saturday night, in which the [Blackhawks](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/chicago-blackhawks?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) spared us from having to [face Ryan Kesler](http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/grumpy-ryan-kesler-built-for-game-7/?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) in a [seven game series](http://www.hockeyfights.com/players/2191?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com). Fourth, I'm grateful for the ladies and gentlemen of PPP, who turned their past into wisdom and told everybody to settle down when the Hawks had a 4-1 lead going into the third (but [nobody will tell me why](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ&ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)!). Fifth, I'm grateful that [Corey Crawford is shaky](http://isportsweb.com/2015/05/27/chicago-blackhawks-corey-crawford-the-weakest-link/?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), just as [shaky as Ben Bishop](http://nypost.com/2015/05/29/shaky-ben-bishop-reveals-his-game-7-approach-vs-rangers/?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), so the Bolts finally don't have to have their goaltender compared negatively to a [young jedi](http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2015/4/27/8506095/red-wings-petr-mrazek-stick-save-lightning-game-6?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), or a [magical sparkly unicorn](http://news.nationalpost.com/sports/nhl/carey-price-bars-the-door-for-canadiens-as-montreal-ousts-ottawa-senators-from-playoffs?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), or an [unbreakable king](http://espn.go.com/nhl/story/%5F/id/10966097/new-york-rangers-henrik-lundqvist-undisputed-king-new-york?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com). Sixth, I'm grateful that Amalie Arena's tickets sold out long before the WCF was over, so that we don't have to answer [questions about the arena policies for yet another round](http://www.rawcharge.com/2015/5/17/8613073/2015-nhl-playoffs-amalie-arena-tampa-florida-NY-rangers-tourism-NHL?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com). (Resold tickets are not restricted to Florida addresses, but Bolts fans will have to explain that yes, Blackhawks fans can wear their jerseys in most of the arena.) Seventh, I'm grateful that I get to see some excellent hockey. Hockey in June?
