# FTB: Free Agency day #2

We're back to do it all over again today! 

The Leafs made a handful of moves on the first day of free agency yesterday which seem to have had a, shall we say... mixed reaction from all of you. Ryan Reeves for three years, John Klingberg for one, and something called a William Lagesson too. Never heard of him before, but he's on the Maple Leafs now.

Notably opting to leave the Leafs for *greener* pastures are Alex Kerfoot to the Arizona Coyotes, Michael Bunting to the Carolina Hurricanes, Ryan O'Reilly to the Nashville Predators, and Justin Holl to the Detroit Red Wings.

The Leafs also made some Entry Level Contract signings which primarily appear to be focused at the Toronto Marlies level. Putting pen to paper were goalie Artur Akhtyamov, defenceman Marshall Rifai, and forward Max Lajoie.

Akhtyamov was reported by his agent to have an arrangement in place to be loaned back to his KHL team Ak-Bars in Kazan for the coming season.

So what's left for the Leafs to do?

Well that all that depends on possible trades or how the remaining cap and potential LTIR space is used up of course, but a big one that must be sorted out is that Ilya Samsonov still needs a new contract, and the dollar value of that contract will also be a driver of what the team can do next. 

So on to day #2\. It's going to be slower, but usually there's still some news that trickles out.
