Good morning Toronto Maple Leafs fans!

It's August 1st and as a fair skinned old man with no heat tolerance who works outside I say good riddance to half of summer and bring on fall!

It also means we'll be rid of the slow news cycle, head into training camp where the struggle to find things for an FTB is gone.

So, let's see what the struggle of August 1st brings us.

> This afternoon, [#RedRiverMétis](https://twitter.com/hashtag/RedRiverM%C3%A9tis?src=hash&ref%5Fsrc=twsrc%5Etfw&ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) athlete and [@MapleLeafs](https://twitter.com/MapleLeafs?ref%5Fsrc=twsrc%5Etfw&ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) forward Connor Dewar visited our Home Office to say hi to President Chartrand. 👋
>
> Good luck this season, Connor! 🚨🏒[#RedRiverMétisGovernment](https://twitter.com/hashtag/RedRiverM%C3%A9tisGovernment?src=hash&ref%5Fsrc=twsrc%5Etfw&ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) [pic.twitter.com/v9yrTQCXK8](https://t.co/v9yrTQCXK8?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)

The Red River Métis are supporting their own and the city of Winnipeg, as they have an airport they let Winnipeg visitors use.

Joseph Woll better have a breakout season. No pressure, kid.

After less than two season in the NHL, Kaiden Guhle got a six year deal with the Montréal Canadiens.

Sudbury is easier to get to, even if their arena is far inferior to the Soo's. But at least NHLers will get to experience the flying wolf after they score!
