The officials eventually kicked her off the team, but this story between her and her coach was really sweet. [She blazed a trail playing Thunder Bay minor hockey. It’s emotional seeing the PWHL take off | CBC NewsBack in 1982, she made front-page news for being the first girl to play on a Thunder Bay north minor hockey team.
