Well, except for an OT winner, that is. - Author: Cathy Squires - Tags: From The Branches The Montréal fans booed William Nylander harder than any other Swede, and they amped it up more for Auston Matthews as part of last night's pregame ceremony at the four-nations. We are always going to boo each other, that's how it should be. They belted out O Canada with similar gusto. > What a moment. > > MASSIVE cheers, a standing ovation and chants of "Mario! Mario! Mario!" after Mario Lemieux is introduced at Bell Centre. Brad Marchand got the second goal, and I'm not conflicted – I cheered – but we have many Americans here who can boo this for anyone who can't do what the Montréal crowd did. > BRAD MARCHAND BRINGS THE MONTREAL CROWD TO THEIR FEET 🇨🇦 [#4Nations](https://twitter.com/hashtag/4Nations?src=hash&ref%5Fsrc=twsrc%5Etfw&ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) [pic.twitter.com/9T5Xpd1S7X](https://t.co/9T5Xpd1S7X?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) > > — Sportsnet (@Sportsnet) [February 13, 2025](https://twitter.com/Sportsnet/status/1889855160073200090?ref%5Fsrc=twsrc%5Etfw&ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) Sweden was bowled over in the first, but they came back with some puck control and scoring chances in the second. The PK is very good, and should serve to explain Jon Cooper picking a couple of his own depth guys – no practice needed. Regulation couldn't decide it, the game went to overtime.
