# Leo Komarov to represent Maple Leafs at 2016 NHL All-Star Game

[Leo Komarov](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/156612/leo-komarov?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) has been selected as the [Maple Leafs](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/toronto-maple-leafs?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) representative at the 2016 [NHL All-Star Game](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl-all-star-game?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com). Komarov is playing a career best season so far; scoring 15 goals and 12 assists for 27 points in 37 games. Komarov's previous NHL high was 8 goals and 18 assists for 26 points in 62 games. Coach Babcock has been playing him as a top six forward and he has excelled in that role.

As a reminder, this years All-Star Game is a 3-on-3 mini tournament. Komarov will play on the Atlantic Division squad captained by Jarmoir Jagr, along with forwards [Patrice Bergeron](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54879/patrice-bergeron?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), [Dylan Larkin](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/246386/dylan-larkin?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), [Ryan O'Reilly](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/71975/ryan-o-reilly?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), and [Steven Stamkos](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/55082/steven-stamkos?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com); defencemen [Aaron Ekblad](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/246283/aaron-ekblad?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), [Erik Karlsson](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/71658/erik-karlsson?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), and [P.K. Subban](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/71720/p-k-subban?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com); and goalies [Ben Bishop](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54828/ben-bishop?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), and Roberto Luongo. They will play the Metropolitan division team in a 20 minute 3-on-3 game. The winner of the game will then go on to play the winner of the Western Conference game in a final match. The winning team splits a $1M prize.

The All-Star Skills Competition will be on Saturday January 30th at 7pm EST. The All-Star Game itself will be on Sunday January 31st starting at 5pm EST.
