Not clear in this aggregator report whether the refusal to waive was general or specific. 

Laughton on TSN said that, "it is really cool" as he was a Leafs' fan growing up. He has not yet spoken to Brad Treliving (or his own mom). 

No one can doubt the charm of the man.
