Brian Burke, president and general manager of the [Toronto Maple Leafs](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/TOR?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), announced Saturday that the hockey club has trimmed its training camp roster.

The Maple Leafs assigned the following players to their respective junior clubs: Jesse Blacker (Windsor – OHL), Joel Champagne (P.E.I. – QMJHL), and Brandon Manning (Chilliwack – WHL).
