If approved, it means change is coming to the Pacific Division. #### Other News Someone was clearly a target last night. This final hit is within the rules for the mechnics of the hit—obviously it was an interference play deserving a minor penalty—but what troubles me is how easily Tom Wilson’s helmet pops off. That’s why he was injured. You can see he hits his forehead on the ice when he falls. I can’t see enough detail of how he was wearing the chin strap, but it is quite alarming how easily it flew off his head. I have seen a lot of NHL players wear them questionably loose and this wouldn’t be the first instance of a helmet coming off from a hit that caused an injury.
