Last year, again, Andersen was a big reason why the Maple Leafs did so well. For me, as a fan, to feel great about a high powered, big forward, all offense team, I want to have a goalie behind them I can feel safe about. Like when Pat Quinn was running the team in the late 90’s/early 00’s and the team had Curtis Joseph back there being the defense. Michael Hutchinson and Garret Sparks have been okay. They’ve both had their wins and big moments, but I don’t feel safe. I don’t feel like we don’t need to worry. Sure, maybe I’m reacting to a big loss, but I just want my Freddie back. > The NHL will look to name an all star replacement for Carey Price quickly.
