Morgan Rielly and Nazem Kadri hit 400 and 500 games played respectively - and all as Maple Leafs. Patrick Marleau climbs closer and closer to top 10 all-time games played every day. Others aren’t doing so hot, like the pointless Martin Marincin or barely there Frederik Gauthier. Now, play isn’t all about points but....this article is. **Player Milestones** Originally, the Goal and Assist dates were calculated using the players current point/goal/assist per game rate based on the NHL games played in the previous three seasons, to avoid low scoring/usage rookie years and to reflect their most recent performance. Now they’ve been updated to use current season per game rates. They could reach these milestones sooner or later than predicted. **Frederik Andersen** **This season: 16GP - 0.934sv% - 2.08GAA - 1SO** **Will hit game #300 in 30 games.** Andersen has played 13 of 15 games, at his current pace game #300 should be game #53 against the Ottawa Senators. **Andersen reached 150 wins this season** Andersen got win #150 in Dallas as the Leafs defeated the Stars 7-4 in game #4 on October 10th. **4 shutouts gets him to 20** Andersen has one shutout so far, a 5-0 win against the Penguins on November 3rd. **Still waiting for goal #1** No goals for Freddie yet. **Connor Brown** **This season: 20GP - 3G - 4A - 7Pts** **171GP - 35G - 35A - 70Pts** **(0.4PPG - 0.2GPG - 0.2APG)** **Barring scratches/injury he’ll play game #200 on Thurs. Dec. 6th vs Detroit** **Barring scratches/injury he’ll play game #250 on Tues. April 1st @ NY Islanders** Brown has played all 15 games so far this season, so he’s on his way to reaching these goals. **He is 13 goals away from 50 - This could happen on Sat. March 23rd vs NY Rangers** He has 3 goals so far this season, and his current pace only has him scoring 12 this season. **He is 11 assists away from 50 - This could happen on Fri. February 19th @ St. Louis** Connor is on pace for 22 assists this season, so his 50th assist could show up earlier than the original March 23rd estimate. **He is 23 points away from 100 - This could happen on Sat. March 23rd vs NY Rangers** Brown is looking at 33 points this season, scoring at his expected 0.4PPG rate so March 23rd is still looking good for #100. **Tyler Ennis** **This season: 17GP - 2G - 2A - 4Pts** **Past 3 seasons: 147GP - 16G - 30A - 46Pts** **Past 3 season average: (0.31PPG - 0.11GPG - 0.2APG)** **Played game #500 on Thurs. Oct. 27th @ WInnipeg** Ennis has played 17 of 20 games so far this season, and his 500th game was actually a bit later, on Oct. 27th in Winnipeg then estimated. **He is 18 goals away from 125 - This most likely won’t happen this season.** He has scored twice in 17 games, just over once every 10 games leaving him with about four goals this season. **He is 20 assists away from 175 - This most likely won’t happen this season.** He also has two assists, so again he’s on a four assist pace. **He is 13 points away from 275\. This could happen on March 16th @ Ottawa** He has four points, getting one about once every four games. This pushes his 275th point back to March from the Feb. 2nd. **Jake Gardiner** **This season: 20GP - 1G - 8A - 9Pts** **Past 3 season stats: 243GP - 21G - 105A - 126Pts** **Past 3 season average:(0.52PPG - 0.09GPG - 0.43APG)** **Played game #500 on Sat. Oct. 27th vs Winnipeg** Jake has played all 20 games and hit the big 5-0-0 with the Jets\* in town. **He is 7 goals away from 50 - This could happen on Sat. April 6th @ Montreal** At his current rate, he’ll only score about four goals this season, so unless he picks up the pace we won’t see 50 until next season. **175 assists milestone reached Oct. 7th vs Chicago** **He is 19 assists away from 200 - This could happen on Sat March 9th @ Edmonton** Jake has eight assists so far this season, and needs 19 more to get to 200\. He’s nabbing one assist every 3ish games so far this season. **He is 1 point away from 225 - This could happen on Wed. Nov 21st @ Carolina** With nine points so far this season, he should get to 225 in the next couple of games. **He is 35 points away from 250 - This could happen on Mon. March 25th vs Florida** Jake’s a little bit slower this season, going 0.45PPG vs his 0.52PPG average so dates are getting pushed back a wee bit, but he should see 250 points near the end of this season still. **Frederik Gauthier** **This Season: 17GP - 0G - 1A - 1Pt** **Past 3 seasons stats: 37GP - 3G - 2A - 5Pts** **Past 3 seasons average: (0.14PPG - 0.08GPG - 0.06APG)** **Game #50 played on Thurs. November 9th vs New Jersey** **Barring scratches/injury he’ll play game #100 on Wed. Feb. 1st @ Detroit** He’s played 17 of 20 games so far, so he could hit 100 earlier than the original Feb. 27th estimate. **He is 7 goals away from 10 - This most likely won’t happen this season** Gauthier has yet to score a goal this season. **He is 7 assists away from 10 - This most likely won’t happen this season** He has one assist so far this year, and he’s looking to end the year with four or five. **He is 4 points away from 10 - This could happen by Sat. April 6th @ Montreal** **He is 9 points away from 15 - This most likely won’t happen this season** His current PPG rate has him scoring only four or five points, so he may get to ten by seasons end. **Ron Hainsey** **This season: 20GP - 2G - 6A - 8Pts** **Past three seasons stats: 233GP - 13G - 46A - 59Pts** **Past three seasons average: (0.25PPG - 0.06GPG - 0.2APG)** **Played game #1000 on Thurs. Nov. 1st vs Dallas** Hainsey has played every game this season and got his silver stick on Nov. 1st. **He is 10 goals away from 75 - This most likely won’t happen this season** He’ll most likely have eight goals at the end of the season. **225 assist milestone reached on Oct. 13th vs Washington** **He is 19 assists away from 250 - He may reach this by April 6th @ Montreal** Hainsey has six assists so far this season, upping his pace from 0.2APG to 0.3APG. **He is 16 points away from 300 - This could happen by Thurs. Feb. 21st vs Washington** Playing with Morgan Rielly is helping Hainsey’s totals, his old pace wouldn’t get him to 300 points but now that he almost doubles it (0.4PPG vs 0.25PPG), he could get there. **Justin Holl - One season** **This season: 1GP - 0G - 0A - 0Pts** **Last Season: 2GP - 2G - 0A - 2Pts** He’s only played one game so far this season, so he’s on pace to play only five games. **Zach Hyman** **This season: 20GP - 1G - 7A - 8Pts** **Past three season stats: 180GP - 29G - 45A - 74Pts** **Past three seasons average: (0.41PPG - 0.16GPG - 0.25APG)** **Played game #200 on Fri. Nov. 16th @ Anaheim** **Barring scratches/injury he’ll play game #250 on Wed. March 13th vs Chicago** Hyman has played every game and hit 200 on Friday night in Anaheim. He’s looking to make it to 250 on schedule. **He is 20 goals away from 50 - This most likely won’t happen this season** With just one goal so far, he’s looking to end the year with three or four goals. **50 assist milestone reached on Oct. 15th vs Los Angeles** Hyman reached 50 assists much earlier than expected, but probably won’t get to 75 or 100 this season, **75 point milestone reached Oct. 7th vs Ottawa** **He is 18 points away from 100 - This could happen on Sat. March 2nd vs Buffalo** Hyman’s play has pushed up his chances of hitting 100 points to the start of March rather than the end. **Andreas Johnsson - One season** **This season: 15GP - 2G - 1A - 3Pts** **Last season - 9GP - 2G - 1A - 3Pts** **(0.23PPG - 0.22GPG - 0.11APG - based on 82 game season)** **Played game #10 on Wed. Oct. 3rd vs Montreal** **Barring scratches/injury he’ll play game #50 on Sat. March 2nd vs Buffalo** Johnsson got game #10 in game #1 this season, but only playing 75% of the games means he won’t get to 50 until March. **He is 6 goals away from 10 - This could happen on Sat. April 6th @ Montreal** Johnsson’s scoring less than last season, and his rate of play gives him a chance to hit 10 goals this season, but not a great one. **He is 8 assists away from 10 - This could happen on Sat. April 6th @ Montreal** He has one assist so far, and could just squeak out 10 by the end of the season, **He is 4 points away from 10 - This could happen on Fri. Feb. 1st @ Detroit** With three points so far, he only needs four more to get 10 on his career. His usage pushed this milestone two months back. **Nazem Kadri** **This season: 20GP - 7G - 7A - 14Pts** **Past three season stats: 238GP - 81G - 80A - 161Pts** **Past three season average: (0.68PPG - 0.34GPG - 0.34APG)** **Played game #500 on Mon. Oct. 29th vs Calgary** He reached this milestone on time. **150 goal milestone reached Nov. 9th vs New Jersey** **He is 23 goals away from 175 - This could happen on Sat. April 6th @ Montreal** He’s on pace for 28 goals, so he should get to 175 by the end of the season. **175 assist milestone reached on Fri. Nov. 16th @ Anaheim** **He is 25 assists away from 200 - This could happen on Sat. April 6th @ Montreal** He’s looking to score about 30 assists this season, so he should get to #200. **He is 23 points away from 350 - This could happen on Wed. Feb. 6th vs Ottawa** It would be great to hit a milestone against the team we stole Kadri from at the draft. **Kasperi Kapanen** **This season: 20GP - 8G - 6A - 14Pts** **Past three season stats: 55GP - 8G - 2A - 10Pts** **Past three season average: (0.18PPG - 0.15GPG - 0.04APG)** **Barring scratches/injury he’ll play game #100 on Mon. Jan. 14th vs Colorado** He’s on pace for this, as he’s played every game so far this season. **He played his 10th game on Oct. 13th vs Washington** **He is 9 goals away from 25 - This could happen on Feb. 14th @ Vegas** Kapanen is scoring a goal about every three games and could get to 25 total this season. **He is 2 assists away from 10 - This could happen Nov. 28th vs San Jose** **He is 17 assists away from 25 - This could happen on Fri. March 15th vs Philadelphia** Kapanen is getting an assist every three games as well, so he could get to 10 by the end of the month and 25 by the time the Leafs have clinched a playoff spot. **He is 1 point away from 25 - This could happen on Wed. Nov 21st @ Carolina.** Originally I figured he would take until March 23rd to get to 25 points, but he already has 14 this season and just needs one more to get to 25\. That should happen in the next couple of games. **Par Lindholm** **This season: 20GP - 1G - 5A - 6Pts** **Scored his first NHL goal on Oct. 13th vs Washington** **Got his first NHL assist on Oct. 9th vs Dallas** **Scored his first NHL point on Oct. 9th vs Dallas** Lindholm is a rookie, so everything he does is a milestone! **Martin Marincin** **This season: 6GP - 0G - 0A - 0Pts** **Past three seasons: 92GP - 2G - 12A - 14Pts** **Past three season average: (0.15PPG - 0.02GPG - 0.13APG)** **Barring scratches/injury he’ll play game #200 on Sat. Feb 23rd vs Montreal** Marincin is playing 3 out of every 10 games, so #200 is most likely coming in February **He is 7 goals away from 10 - This most likely won’t happen this season** **He is 3 assists away from 25 - This could happen on Sat. Nov. 24th vs Philadelphia** **He is 25 points away from 50 - This most likely won’t happen this season** With no points yet we’re not looking at any big numbers this year. **Patrick Marleau** **This season: 20GP - 4G - 8A - 12Pts** **Past three seasons: 246GP - 77G - 62A - 139Pts** **Past three season average: (0.57PPG - 0.31GPG - 0.25APG)** **Barring scratches/injury he’ll play game #1600 on Mon. Nov. 26th vs Boston** **Barring scratches injury he’ll pass Ray Bourque for #10 for all time games played on Fri. Dec 28th @ Columbus** **Barring Scratches/injury he’ll pass Mark Recchi for #5 all time games played on Sat. April 6th @ Montreal** Marleau hasn’t missed any games, so he’s on pace for #1600 against the Bruins, then make some history. **He is 11 goals away from 550 - This could happen on Wed. March 27th @ Philadelphia** He’s not scoring as much as he was last year, so this goal got pushed back a few months. **600 assist milestone reached on Nov. 9th vs New Jersey** **He is 59 points away from 1200 - This most likely won’t happen this season** He’s on pace to score 49 points this season, so if he wants to hit that number he needs to step it up. **Mitchell Marner** **This season: 20GP - 6G - 20A - 26Pts** **NHL Career: 159GP - 41G - 89A - 130Pts** **Career average: (0.82PPG - 0.26GPG - 0.56APG)** **He played game #175 on Fri. Nov. 9th vs New Jersey** **Barring scratches/injury he’ll play game #200 on Sat. Jan. 5th vs Vancouver** Marner has played every game so far so this should still apply. **He is 3 goals away from 50 - This could happen on Thurs. Dec 6th vs Detroit** **He is 28 goals away from 75 - This could happen Sat. April 6th @ Montreal** Hitting 75 goals this season is a stretch - he’s only on pace for 25 this year but it could happen. **100 assist milestone reached Oct. 27th vs Winnipeg** **He is 41 assists away from 150 - This could happen Sat. March 23rd vs NY Rangers** His amazing season has put 200 assists on the radar for this season. Jan 18th @ Florida** His 300th goal has been pushed up to January from March. **350 assist milestone reached Oct. 11th vs Detroit** It actually took longer than I thought for Tavares to get his first assist of the season. **He is 6 points away from 650 - This could happen on Mon. Nov. 26th vs Boston** **He is 56 points away from 700 - This could happen on Wed. March 13th vs Chicago** His PPG+ season has pushed up some milestones as long as he stays healthy. **Nikita Zaitsev** **This season: 20GP - 0G - 2A - 2Pts** **NHL Career: 142GP - 9G - 40A - 49Pts** **NHL Career Average: (0.35PPG - 0.06GPG - 0.35APG)** **Played game #150 on Thurs. Oct. 18th vs Pittsburgh** **Barring scratches/injury he’ll play game #175 on Sat. Dec. 15th @ Florida** **Barring scratches/injury he’ll play game #200 on Sat. Feb. 16th @ Arizona** He’s on pace for the games played milestones this season. **He is 1 goal away from 10 - This could happen eventually.** Originally Nov. 9th was the date, but it’s come and gone. **He is 8 assists away from 50 - This won’t happen this season at his current pace** He’s slowed down some this season, but once he starts scoring he could get to some good numbers. **50 point milestone reached Oct. 11th vs Detroit** **He is 24 points away from 75 - This won’t happen this season at his current pace** He got to 50, but 75 is a goal for next year. --- **Team Milestones** **Game #6500 - Saturday March 16th @ Ottawa** Maple Leafs currently have 6,727 points Maple Leafs passed the 6,700 point mark in game one. Maple Leafs Could hit 6,800 points exactly with a 101 point season - they’re looking to pass 101 points this year. When the Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup they’ll have 269 playoff wins The Maple Leafs will win Stanley Cup #14 this season --- We’ll check back in at the 40 game mark in January. Some of the guys are doing extremely well, others need to pick up the pace. Hopefully we’ll have some big milestones hit by the new year.
