After 16 goals and 28 assists in 18 games played, Mitch Marner has been awarded the Wayne Gretzky 99 Award as OHL Playoff MVP.

Marner was given the trophy after the London Knights defeated the Niagara IceDogs 1-0 to finish off the sweep in front of the IceDogs faithful.

Mitch Marner and fellow Maple Leafs prospect JJ Piccinich will now head to the 98th Memorial Cup in Red Deer, Alberta to prove they are the best junior hockey team in Canada.
