Saturday's scrimmage is closed to the public, but the Leafs are planning to stream it on their website. We'll update with an exact link when it's avalable.

Interviews from Friday

Mike Babcock doesn't take summer camp too seriously, but he is really serious about the mental health and media training sessions the prospects attended. "Treating people right," is something he specifically mentioned being discussed. Classic Mike Babcock and his quest for "Good People".

Auston Matthews obviously doesn't need media training, and he knows how to compliment his teammates. You can see his souvenir from the scrimmage, and he comes alive when he talks about actual hockey plays.

Jeremy Bracco talks about Mitch Marner really quickly. And also discusses the theme of the day: the big D.

The post-scrimmage discussions were highjacked a bit by the Bernier trade news, so Lou Lamoriello talked about that first.

Friday Scrimmage Highlights

If you watch the video, you will see clearly that the widely reported assist to Matthews on the only Team White goal never happened. He went pointless, with the only white goal scored by Jesper Lindgren from Trevor Moore and Alan Lyszczarczyk. PPP sets the record straight on this important issue.
