Toronto Maple Leafs prospects recap: West is Best

There’s a myth that the Western Conference is best in the NHL. It’s true in the OHL, and this week it’s true of Leafs prospects.

Adam Brooks ended 2016 with ten points in four games, with five coming from a single game.

Jack Walker went a point per game notching 3 goals and an assist of his won while carrying a +8 over the week. Vladimir Bobylyov is sliding right into the WHL, acting like he’s missed no time at all.

For the OHL kids, Nikita Korostelev was traded from Sarnia to Peterborough, and with OHL media picking the Petes to go all the way, Korostelev could see a lengthy post season in his future.

Stephen Desrocher sees his name in trade rumours, and whether they were motivation or not, he had five points this week.

Jeremy Bracco, while not playing, is a big name out there as we approach the OHL trade deadline, Kitchener is looking to cash in on Bracco’s play so far this year.
