Time to watch: 11:30 a.m. Eastern time.

UPDATE: Finland hockey seems to have cancelled the livestreams. If the Russians post another link to their own stream, I’ll update this.

Livestream (free, not geo-blocked): https://livestream.com/leijonat/U20TopSportCup2017

Event: Four Natiouns U20 tournament featuring Sweden, Finland, Russia and the Czech Republic.

Who: Vladislav Kara, the Toronto Maple Leafs 2017 draft pick.

Yesterday in the opening match, Kara scored one of the two regulation goals for Russia. He wasn’t on their junior team radar before now, and hasn’t played on a national team since the U17 team in 2014, so maybe the Leafs drafting him at age 19 piqued their interest. If he makes something of the opportunity, there’s a chance we can see him on the WJC team in Buffalo this winter.
