# Thursday’s FTB: Chiarelli is out in Edmonton, and the Leafs are back on track

Yesterday was an eventful day, as we found out that the Edmonton Oilers fired Peter Chiarelli, and the Leafs finally broke out of their rough stretch. The CHL Top Prospects Game also took place, and the Marlies blew a 4-1 lead before losing in a shootout.

Frank Seravalli shared this interesting note from back at the 2016 draft, and I’m hope that these stories continue:
