**Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Montreal Canadiens, Preseason Game #6**

**Time:** 7:00 PM Eastern Time

**Location:** Videotron Centre, Quebec City, QC

**Broadcast:** TSN 4/RDS

**Opponent SBNation Site:** [Habs Eyes On The Prize](https://www.habseyesontheprize.com/?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)

The Leafs’ preseason rumbles on, and we’re now within a week of official opening night. The contest for jobs on the third pair and the fourth line seems to have heated up, although cynics will say many of those spots are taken in reality. #Freivo

At any rate, the Leafs are coming off a 5-1 pasting of the Habs on Monday night, a game where the Toronto’s superior forward skill carried them off to victory on melting Ricoh Coliseum ice. That match featured two near-NHL lineups, whereas this one looks to have a more minor-league character.

For tonight’s game, you play the coach, and make a lineup out of this announced group who has travelled to Quebec City.

8 Connor Carrick
18 Ben Smith
20 Dominic Moore
23 Eric Fehr
24 Kasperi Kapanen
26 Nikita Soshnikov
28 Connor Brown
32 Josh Leivo
36 Kerby Rychel
38 Colin Greening
39 Richard Clune
41 Dmytro Timashov
45 Miro Aaltonen
48 Calle Rosen
49 Andreas Johnsson
52 Martin Marincin
54 Justin Holl
55 Andreas Borgman
57 Travis Dermott
62 Carl Grundstrom
65 Michael Paliotta
35 Curtis McElhinney
40 Garret Sparks

For the Habs lines, we have a similar list. Will it matter who plays? After all, they have the best goalie in the world.

30 Zach Fucale
31 Carey Price

(The Habs list the goalies first on their list.)

6 Shea Weber
11 Brendan Gallagher
13 Peter Holland
15 Chris Terry
17 Torrey Mitchell
25 Jacob De La Rose
27 Alex Galchenyuk
32 Mark Streit
34 Michael McCarron
41 Paul Byron
42 Byron Froese
43 Daniel Carr
45 Joe Morrow
52 Eric Gelinas
53 Victor Mete
65 Andrew Shaw
67 Max Pacioretty
88 Brandon Davidson
92 Jonathan Drouin

Even if this isn’t a real game, beating up the Habs is always fun, and this is another chance for our bubble players to flex their hockey muscles. Go Leafs go.
