The Marlies have released some of their players who were on PTOs.  They are: Brett Bulmer, John Kurtz, Ethan Werek, Matt Lashoff and Nick Luukko.

Adam Brooks has been reassigned to his junior team, the Regina Pats, for another year in the WHL.

According the Marlies release, some of the players just returning are remaining with the team:

Remaining with the Marlies are forwards Marc-André Cliche, Mason Marchment and Daniel Maggio, defencemen William Wrenn and Jon Jutzi, and goaltenders Kasimir Kaskisuo and Jeff Glass.

Edited to add: the above is a copied excerpt from the Marlies’ press release about cuts.  The current version of that page on their website no longer lists Glass as remaining with the team.  His status is unknown at this time.

The remaining 13 players on various contracts with the AHL, the ECHL or on PTOs will report to the Orlando Solar Bears.  Included in that number is Tony Cameranesi and Chase Witala, two standouts from preseason action.

The updated roster is available here.

There is still no sign of Shane Conacher, who signed with the Marlies in the spring, on any roster anywhere.

An earlier version of this story said 18 players were reporting to Orlando, that is in fact the number of Leafs reporting to the Marlies.  There are only 13 Marlies reporting to Orlando. We regret the error.
