Eric Faille wins the ECHL player of the week award.

Eric Faille, who is usually a member of the Orlando Solar Bears but is a frequent and welcome addition to the Toronto Marlies when the need arises, scored three goals and four assists in two games last week. No wonder he won this award!

This is a really cool award too because it helps promote youth hockey.

On behalf of Eric Faille, a case of pucks will be donated to an Orlando youth hockey organization by Sher-Wood Hockey, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Sher-Wood Hockey has donated more than 35,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.

Congratulations to Eric, and thanks to Sher-Wood for supporting the game all over North America.
