Today's games will decide who they will play in the quarterfinals. The possible outcomes are too complex to sort out, so wait until the end of the Japan - Denmark game tonight, and we'll know. The Leafs are always playing the Devils these days. Two things more, for those who may have missed them in comments. The cookie banner provider is new, so you'll have to click on it again. This was done as a cost saving measure. Second: membership vs subscription is a bit complex. I confess I didn't quite understand it at first, so here goes: - Subscriptions are handled by Stripe and they store your payment information which I have no access to. Stripe payment details cannot be removed in an active subscription. - Subscriptions are what it says on the tin: they renew. A yearly subscription is just cheaper than paying monthly but it rolls over and you are charged again. - Membership in the site involves providing to the site an email address, making up a username, clicking a login link and suddenly you can comment on posts. - Memberships and Subscriptions are actually totally separate things handled by two completely different systems, neither of which I control much of. - Occasionally people sign up (membership), see a page offering subscriptions, and send me angry emails about how they thought the site was free. It is. Membership is free. If you want to just read and comment without paying for the future of the site, you can. - If you sign up (membership) and can't see the comments, but get an error message telling you something is wrong with your username, you can fix that by fixing your username. You must have a username with only letters, numbers and dots. Other punctuation will often make the comments fail to load.
