He became, after leaving the Marlies and the Leafs, one of the best ever AHL forwards in some time. He was a legitimate star in the KHL. Their season is about to get underway, so it's possible Leivo wants a job back in North America. He has never had any meaningful NHL impact, but he was at least capable of playing low minutes. By today they'll be 10 posts on all those sites that look alike with headlines saying the Leafs would be doomed, doomed I say! if they don't sign him.
