# Tuesday's FTB: Some news for you

Reese Johnson was on an NHL contract and played on the Marlies last year. Marc Johnstone was with the team in 2022-2023 and then he went to the Penguins. Ken Appleby is a very good AHL goalie who was part of the group that helmed the nets for Charlotte last year. They lost in the Calder Cup final to Abbottsford. 

Tampa Bay have added Jeff Tambellini as AGM to replace Matthew Darche, now the GM of the Islander. They also made Joel Buchard as the GM of the Syracuse Crunch. He is also the head coach. One person doing both jobs is common in the ECHL, but very uncommon in the AHL.
