After back-to-back wins to open the season last week, the Toronto Marlies picked up where they left off again today. After a [late period ](https://twitter.com/scottcwheeler/status/655496427217551360?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com)[Byron Froese](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/122416/byron-froese?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) goal, TJ Brennan capped off the 3-on-3 overtime off a nice feed from [Connor Brown](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/157254/connor-brown?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com).

With the win, the Marlies remained undefeated and atop the North Division.

Top Leafs prospect [William Nylander](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/246220/william-nylander?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) also picked up a goal and an assist in the win, giving him four points in his first three games of the season. [Antoine Bibeau](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/198383/antoine-bibeau?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) collected the win.

For the third straight game to open the season, the Marlies also heavily outshot their opponent after outshooting the Manitoba Moose 76-53 last weekend. The Marlies are back in action again tomorrow against Albany.
