# WATCH: Can the Marlies tell the difference between their many Connors and Carricks?

The Toronto Marlies have some very similar names on their roster. There's [Connor Brown](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/157254/connor-brown?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), in his second professional season with the [Maple Leafs](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/toronto-maple-leafs?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) organization, who has put together a nearly point-per-game campaign this year. There's [Connor Carrick](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/157299/connor-carrick?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), who came to the Leafs alongside [Brooks Laich](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54344/brooks-laich?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), and is now paying dividends for the Marlies in the playoffs. And then there's [Sam Carrick](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/111742/sam-carrick?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), now playing in his fourth season in the organization.

Having Connor Brown and [Sam Carrick](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/122151/sam-carrick?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) was probably one thing, but throwing Connor Carrick into the mix? Yeesh, that's a lot to take in.

So the Marlies decided to have some fun with that, and put [Brendan Leipsic](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/157821/brendan-leipsic?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), [Rich Clune](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54589/rich-clune?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), [Josh Leivo](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/143529/josh-leivo?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com), and [Stuart Percy](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/132345/stuart-percy?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) to the test. Of course, spending so much time around their teammates probably helped them with these questions.

Anyway, now I just want Connor Brown to organize a team-wide chess tournament and see how it goes. Sam Carrick can provide the maple syrup refreshments.
