Johansen hasn't played since before his contract was terminated, and at 33 and coming off his surgery, well, he'd get $4 million if he was a righty defender.

In other news, Seattle signed defender Ryker Evans to a two-year deal for $2.05 million. This is an excellent bargain deal for a good defender who is only 23.
