Friedman has a profile on Verhaeghe that starts with being drafted by the Leafs in 2013.

May be more hockey to watch in the future? I'm guessing the CHL would do this to monetise some TV rights. Sounds like a Family Day week thing to me if they go that route.

Leafs assistant coach Manny Malhotra has a new gig. This also means that Jeremy Colliton is back in the market for an NHL job, and if he can't land the Sharks head coach position, he could be thinking of taking an assistant coach job, perhaps for a team which recently had an assistant coach leave for an AHL head coaching job.
