The original Walter Cup is brought out only for the on-ice presentation and otherwise resides at the Hockey Hall of Fame, and it is confirmed to be there. This version that has gone missing is the one that permanently belongs to the Montreal Victoire. So who took it and why? I invite your wildest possible speculation. Was it aliens? I feel like it was probably aliens. I'm thinking the Tholians discovered the Cup can resonate at a certain quantum temporal frequency to be a catalyst to open a portal to another dimension. In other news, a name resurfaces that will join the Leafs' ECHL affiliate, but only on an ECHL contract. Burmistrov has some claim to fame for being one of the few remaining active hockey players drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers.
