Though we've been on an editorial voluntary furlough (*not to be confused with working at a newspaper and being unemployed*) we'd like to express our deep regret at losing a valued contributor to the blogging community: Howard Berger.

There are so many nice things we could say about Howard that I couldn't bear to type even a single one here lest he see it and be embarassed by our profound respect for his genre defining work.

He leaves behind an account on Hockey Buzz and a Montreal taxi driver convinced he's now a source. Godd Till and Kim Jorn will likely host the wake.
