- Description: He's been scoring at a point-per-game pace as of late, though multi-point games have really helped with that.

We're just 21 games into [William Nylander's](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/246220/william-nylander?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) NHL career, and he already has four multi-point games: two of which are three-pointers.

Via the [Elias Sports Bureau, Inc.](http://espn.go.com/espn/elias?date=20160408&ref=pensionplanpuppets.com):

> Nylander is the first [Maple Leafs](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/teams/toronto-maple-leafs?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) rookie to score at least three points in a game twice in one season since 2008-09, when [Mikhail Grabovski](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54327/mikhail-grabovski?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) did it three times and [Nikolay Kulemin](http://www.sbnation.com/nhl/players/54310/nikolai-kulemin?ref=pensionplanpuppets.com) did so twice.

The nice news? Nylander will top out at 22 games this season, so he'll still be considered a rookie going into next year. He'll have plenty of time to have more three-point games (and maybe be a Calder contender? Let's go ahead and dream, that's what the off-season is for).

In his first 10 games, Nylander scored just two goals. In the 11 since, he's up to four goals and 11 points: a point per game pace. Though it should be noted he did have a five-game drought in that time - those two three-point games really helped make up for it - but obviously, he's still adjusting to the NHL game.

This head start to his career is nice, though. Here's hoping he can get going right away in the 2016-17 season - he should have a good idea of what to expect, now.
