Connor Carrick's NHL career is still just getting started. Sure, he's been in professional hockey for three seasons now - which isn't that long, even though he's already played for four teams over that time - but there's always going to be room for him to grow and improve. Fifty-three NHL games at his age is pretty impressive, but learning to be more productive at the highest level will be beneficial for both him and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The off-season is a good time to seek ways to improve. And it looks like Carrick is pulling out all the stops:
