Hiya!

Welcome to a brand new Toronto Maple Leafs / NHL podcast hitting the airwaves! Youtuber Matthew Henriques and I have recorded the maiden voyage of the Shades of Hockey Podcast, a show we hope you all will enjoy before or after the Back to Excited podcast, we’re not picky.

On the show, we talked a little about the Erik Karlsson and Max Pacioretty trades, making sure to drag the Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens sufficiently enough for a Toronto-based podcast.

Matthew and I then move on to talk about potential Leafs lineups, including the surprises Mike Babcock might pull with the forwards, particularly Andreas Johnsson and Kasperi Kapanen.

Finally, I get a little passionate about everyone’s best friend and new-daddy Jake Gardiner during the conversation about what Leafs defense corps might look like in 2018-19.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we had making it. Okay, that’s a lie, I was super nervous the entire time we were recording. But we still hope you enjoy it.

For now, you can find us on Soundcloud and RSS as we try to get iTunes, Google Play, and other podcast services up and running.

Like and Subscribe, and we will see you next week!
