We’re now on Game 7 of 8 in the Leafs’ preseason, and the Leafs’ lineup is taking shape. Zach Hyman is still out with a hip injury and William Nylander is still out with a contract injury, so their spots will be filled by Kasperi Kapanen and Tyler Ennis respectively. Exciting times!
The Red Wings aren’t telling us who they’re bringing, though we know the defence will include Dennis Cholowski, Joe Hicketts, Libor Sulak and Filip Hronek, while the forwards should include Martin Frk and the goalie should be Jimmy Howard. Henrik Zetterberg is semi-retired now, in a wholly unforeseeable turn of events. Still, the Wings play a well-structured game and the Leafs, er, don’t always feel obligated to bother with such things as structure, so this might be closer than you’d think.
