Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang are the longest-tenured trio in North American sports history. They share the most combined points for a trio in NHL history as well. Now the Pens aren't competitive I think it's possible to appreciate what an era and legacy these three (and Fleury) made.

“It’s very special. Time is flying," Malkin said. "I feel like 20 years ago, it’s one day. It’s amazing. Love to play with Sid and [Letang]. Same team together [for] 20 years. It’s special. People talk a lot about that. I try to do my best. Who knows? Maybe [it's my] last year. I do my best and try to help the team to win. Sid, a special kid. [Letang], too. Lots of [memories], lots of wins together. Keep going.”

There were 14 games in the NHL last night, zero tonight as the Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers play their deciding Game 5, and 16 on Saturday. One of those games was highlighted by Fraser Minten scoring the overtime winner against Chicago for Boston. Minten is the team's 3C between Tanner Jeannot and Mikey Eyssimont.

Game scores within the division included the Habs on the second half of a back to back beating the Red Wings 5-1, the Rangers blanking the Sabres 4-0, the Sens beating the Lightning 5-4, and the Panthers beating the Flyers 2-1.
