The Toronto Maple Leafs have announced that they have returned left winger Trevor Moore to the Toronto Marlies. Moore joins Calle Rosen as the second Leaf to be sent to the Marlies for their trip through the Calder Cup playoffs. Rosen was sent back down yesterday during locker clean out day.

Moore has joined the Marlies at Coca-Cola Coliseum for a week of practices in preparation for a second-round series against the Cleveland Monsters starting Wednesday, May 1st in Toronto. The Monsters defeated the Syracuse Crunch in four games last night at home.

In 25 games for the Maple Leafs, Moore scored two goals, added six assists, and posted a 49.5% Corsi at 5v5 on the fourth line. In seven playoff games, Moore also contributed a goal. Moore will begin a two-year deal paying him $775,000 next season, which will help with the cap crunch.

In other roster news, Kristians Rubins has been sent from the Marlies to the Newfoundland Growlers, where he spent much of this season as a top-4 defenseman. The Growlers are set to begin their second-round playoff series against the Manchester Monarchs today at home.
