Today the NHL announced the rosters for the 2018 All Star Game in Tampa Bay. The Maple Leafs, despite being one of the top three teams in the division, only have # representatives there.

Auston Matthews has been named as the Maple Leafs representative for Team Atlantic in Tampa Bay. Matthews is the Maple Leafs leading scorer with 19 goals and 14 assists for 33 points in 34 games, and is the most recognizable name on the team right now.

Matthews’ teammates on the Atlantic roster are:

Boston Bruins: Brad Marchand
Buffalo Sabres: Jack Eichel
Detroit Red Wings: Mike Green
Florida Panthers: Aleksander Barkov
Montreal Canadiens: Carey Price
Ottawa Senators: Erik Karlsson
Tampa Bay Lightning: Steven Stamkos, Victor Hedman, Nikita Kucherov, Andrei Vasilevsky

Jon Cooper of the Tampa Bay Lightning will coach the team.
