The Leafs are the toast of the town after winning the first two games of their California road trip, but they’ll be playing their third game in four nights against a rested and strangely improved (in recent games) Anaheim Ducks team.

While you’re waiting for the game to start, let’s brush up on some hockey news!

First, Kasperi Kapanen having a breakout offensive year? Kasperi Kapanen having a breakout offensive year.

Second, The Edmonton Oilers traded Ryan Strome to the New York Rangers for Ryan Spooner. Since we know Oilers fans are big fans of trade trees....

Josh Archibald of the Arizona Coyotes received a two game suspension for this hit to the head of Ryan Hartman. After the announcement, Shyam Das burst through the window to Gary Bettman’s office, stole Bettman’s lunch, peed on his desk, and dropped paperwork that both overturned the suspension but also gave Archibald a pony for Christmas.

The Curse of Bill Peters’ goaltending continues to lay waste to the careers of his netminders, as Mike Smith is baffled by his struggles.

Personally, I prefer my Christmas presents to come in a smaller, fuzzier, and more vicious package.

GO LEAFS GO!
