Last night the news came out that Matthew Wuest, creator and manager of CapGeek.com had passed away after a battle with cancer. He had taken the website offline recently and only stated it was for personal reasons on the main page. CapGeek was a tool most of us thought was interesting and neat when we first came across it, but then it became a default bookmark to click on anytime players were discussed, trades brought up, or we just wanted to know "how badly fucked are the Leafs when it comes to buying out Clarkson?". Many of us still instinctively head to the site for help when its needed. Matthew was a local sports reporter for Metro News in Halifax, and very few of us knew his name until last night, but we owe much of our time online to his hard work and dedication. Thank you Matthew, may you be in peace now.
