Good Morning fans of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and to hell with the rest of you!

I’m just kidding, all are welcome in my wonderful morning links post. There’s quite a bit going on, everyone is keeping busy so I’m just going to dive right into it.

The Maple Leafs lost a mostly boring game against the Flyers last night, you can read our recap here and check out the view from Broad Street Hockey here.

If you missed seeing the action check out the recap here:

It was also a big game, where Patrick Marleau scored his 1,100th career point, moving him into 60th all time, and I covered that here.

Waivers were also taken out of everybody’s plans for the Maple Leafs when it was revealed that they are at the 50 contract limit. Katya wrote that one up, and the news that Nikita Soshnikov has been placed on IR.

Are you looking for other news? Well I have that too.

The 6th Sens elaborates on the Erik Karlsson situation, and it’s great because this is all bad for the Senators.

Down Goes Brown wants to give the worst teams in the NHL some good news.

I love realignment talk and Five For Howling has some going on.

St. John’s has been without hockey since the Canadiens moved the IceCaps to Laval this season. There’s rumours of a QMJHL team moving to The Rock for a year and now the ECHL is joining in. EOTP reports on both.

A side note here, if Montreal unaffiliated with the Brampton Beast, I’m wondering if the Maple Leafs wouldn’t take this opportunity to have all of their prospects playing in the GTA. It would make a lot of sense to be able to talk to all of their players from the NHL to the ECHL within driving distance. It would make a lot of sense (Sorry Acha & Paul).

The Anaheim Ducks are getting healthy and that...can’t be right.

TSN’s Bob McKenzie is down here in Niagara this week at Team Canada training camp, and we bumped shoulders in a scrum yesterday morning so we’re best friends now. He was on TSN radio discussing the tournament and pointed out there aren’t many locks for the Canadian team this year.

Leafs prospect Ryan O’Connell is playing for Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge and they play Canada East in the quarter finals tonight at 7:30 Atlantic time, 6:30 eastern. You can stream the game here.

Share anymore news you have, or if you prefer share the news above in the comments too! Women’s Hockey Wednesday will be out at 8, and a photo gallery from Kate Frese for last nights game will be out at 9 and she takes excellent photos for us.

Have a great day everyone!
