That was a fun start to the season. Auston Matthews book ended the scoring scored the overtime game winner and the very first goal of the season,
In fact, why don’t we watch that one again?
John Tavares scored the middle Leafs goal of the game which was a bit of a rocky start or the Leafs at times.
There was someone missing from the game last night. Kyle Dubas did not heed my advice to secretly sign William Nylander and have him skate out at the player introductions to the delight of everyone. Nylander is now officially losing cash each day without a signed contract. All we can do is wait and watch the
spreadsheets games, which is pretty frustrating.
Speaking of games, the next two are on Saturday and Sunday. In the meantime, the Leafs are undefeated! Yay!
