Leafs recall Trevor Moore from the Toronto Marlies - Pension Plan Puppets
In case you missed this last night, the Maple Leafs announced that University of Denver graduate, Marlies winger/centre, and back to back 33 point season Trevor Moore has the chance to make his NHL debut tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Moore has had a great AHL season so far, scoring 12 points in 10 games and has been a consistent presence on the Marlies since making his professional debut in 2016.

Now the question is, will the Leafs use Auston Matthews absence as a chance to give more Marlies chances with the Leafs?

Chris Mueller and Carl Grundstrom are both at nine points in eight games and probably want to have a chance as well.

So, is this a proper try out for Moore or a chance for the team to see what they have stashed in the minors?
