Yesterday Toronto Maple Leafs fans were treated to some good news!

Mike Babcock has said that Travis Dermott will be playing tonight against the Washington Capitals, and hopefully his return gives the Maple Leafs the jump they need to get out fast and get a solid win over the Capitals.

As for the other injured Leafs, Zach Hyman (knee) and John Tavares (finger) still don’t have timelines to return. Their return would also give the Leafs a boost, but eventually they’ll be back.

In other news....

Katya looked at what could be ailing the Leafs:

Mike Babcock discussed the Leafs emotional play, or lack thereof:

Fans of lesser NHL teams are still obsessing over the Leafs:

Habs Eyes on the Prize writes that yearly Jonathan Drouin article...

Evgeni Malkin was almost ready to play in the ice when off ice problems surfaced...

Brendan Perlini moves on to this third NHL team:

Vladimir Tarasenko is out for almost the entire regular season:

Finally, maybe it’s not the Leafs; maybe every fanbase is freaking out about this season:

Have a good day everyone!
