The Toronto Maple Leafs have completed four of eight pre-season games, but haven’t made any cuts since before game one. That means it’s time to figure out which players will be cut.
With almost all of the junior hockey eligible players already gone, the Leafs will continue to fill out Toronto Marlies training camp where Ian Scott and Maksim Zhukov are waiting.
If I had to guess at the next round of cuts, they’d be:
Rich Clune
Colt Conrad
Matt Read
Kristians Rubins
Kenny Agostino
Tyler Gaudet
Egor Korshkov
Nic Baptiste
I have no reason for these, but I want to be able to point to players and go “See?! I told you!”
Anyway, here’s the news you may have missed over the weekend.
They say it's a shorthanded goal, but because of Muzzin, it was technically 4-on-4 pic.twitter.com/U8oBWLfBW7

This was the story of the game, according to every Leafs fan leaving HSBC First Key Marine Bank Midland Niagara Centre Arena Place on Saturday night.
A young teen previews the Leafs.
Small, but important clarification to that Kasperi Kapanen quote on William Nylander: "I think he's going to go down as one of the **better** Swedish players to ever play."

Still high praise.
Kappy knows what’s what.
Consistency is key.
How will the Leafs defence look?
Sandin is making a lot of believers this pre-season.
Hopefully it goes badly.
Oh, and in case you missed it....
Enjoy your day everyone!
