Tuesday’s FTB: And the summer drags on...

We’re almost at the time for rookie camps, then real camps, then the preseason, then it’s time!

Good morning Toronto Maple Leafs fans!

Alright, that’s as much excitement as I can muster. It’s the last day of August, and the newest news I can find about the Maple Leafs I already wrote up on Sunday:

We also have Semyon Der-Arguchintsev’s entry into the Top 25:

And Katya wrote up the NHL’s silly economics:

Around the NHL we have the same news about the Carolina Hurricanes offer sheet to Jesper Kotkaniemi:

The Nashville Predators re-upped Eli Tolvanen for three more years:

So, what do we have to look forward to?

The Traverse City prospect tournament is still scheduled to go ahead, with the Red Wings, Blues, Stars, Blue Jackets, and Maple Leafs all participating:

Game one is Thursday September 16th at 3PM.

Ahead of that, the Maple Leafs would usually hold their rookie camp, but no official word on that has come out yet, aside from invitees names being leaked:

It’s a slow week for news, but that’s just to encourage us to enjoy the summer we have left.

Go outside, pet an alpaca, enjoy your day!
