Good morning Maple Leafs fans!

The NHL season begins today, but the Maple Leafs have one more day to wait before tomorrow nights home opener.

Tonight there are three games to get you excited for the return of the game we love and the league that frustrates us:

5:30PM - Nashville Predators at Tampa Bay Lightning

8:00PM - Chicago at Pittsburgh Penguins

10:30PM - Seattle Kraken at Vegas Golden Knights

I really think the NHL should kick off the season with a Stanley Cup Final rematch in the winners rink. Just make the losers watch the banner get raised. Kick off the season with some hate.

The Maple Leafs have made their roster official to start the season and some questions arise, but things may change today or early tomorrow ahead of the opener.

The names may change before Wednesday’s opening game.

A couple former (and a current) Leafs get off-ice jobs.

The NHL continues to NHL

NHL reportedly bans Pride Tape for 2023-24 season
In a memo sent to the NHL’s 32 clubs, the league has decided that it will no longer permit players to use Pride Tape.

Well. Now that they have a player making eight figures, the Sabres will never win a cup.

Sabres Extend Dahlin For Eight Years
The Buffalo Sabres have locked up defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, announcing an eight-year contract extension.

Thankfully the Leafs have several!

One NHL rookie to watch on all 32 NHL teams in 2023-24
Fantilli, Cooley, Hughes, Levi and Coronato are just some of the top prospects to keep a close eye on this…

Finally, let's check out some chatty Leafs before we go.
