The Leafs trekked to Winnipeg on Sunday and have been hunkered down in an igloo somewhere (probably) since. Tonight, they head to the biggest and loudest igloo in the city, the MTS Centre. Inside will be 15,000+ fans who have proven to be louder than any other arena crowd in the league. The difference between the ACC and the MTS Centre is like the difference between a mouse squeak and a 747 taking off. What a load of nothing that's done for their hockey team. The Jets, despite apparently having the best home ice advantage in the league, are just 2-6-2 (6pts) in Winnipeg. Maybe their fans should shut the hell up for a change? Yeah that's not going to happen. They're going to boo Phaneuf every time he touches the puck because they're idiots.

Let's see what else is in the news today....Oh yeah, Matt Frattin is back in the lineup and Carlyle is mulling his next terrible lineup decision. The Jets are tied for 12th in the league for team fighting major with 14, a full 11 fights less than league leaders Toronto (yeah truculence) who have 25. Despite this fact, expect both Frazer McLaren and Colton Orr in the lineup tonight to do nothing but skate around during TV timeouts and accumulate under 5 minutes of actual "hockey" playing time while they chase Anthony Peluso and Eric Tangradi around the ice asking for a go.

Oh also, maybe we won't see Korbinian Holzer on the 1st defensive pairing anymore if Carlyle keep Cody Franson up with Phaneuf. But don't count on it, because as has been shown, Randy is very slow in his attempts to fix glaring issues throughout the lineup.

Tonight's PPP Prognostication

The Jets's average a little under 29 SF/G. Tonight, I'm setting the over/under at 35.5. What's your guess?

Lineups

Leafs

The usual with Reimer in goal.

Jets

Don't know or care but it's Ondrej Pavelec getting the start so hopefully the Leafs shoot a lot of rubber at the worst goalie contract in the NHL.
