The Maple Leafs blew up last night and lost the second game of their second round series against the Florida Panthers. We didn't feel too bad after losing the first game, but now down 2-0 in the series it sure doesn't feel great as the Leafs head out on the road to Sunrise to play the next two games in Panthers territory.

Here's our recap of the game:

Round 2, Game 2 Recap: Leafs hoist with their own petard
The Leafs defence looked exposed and fragile in Game 1. And it also looked like it was on the forwards to fix that. Well. They fixed it all right.

Marlies

The Marlies have a pivotal game tonight against the Comets in Utica. If they win they advance to the second round of the Calder Cup Playoffs, if they lose tonight a final series deciding game will happen in Toronto on Sunday afternoon at the Coliseum.

Either way, the Marlies have the Comets on the ropes for tonight's game and much of that is thanks to Ryan Chyzowski who scored twice in Wednesday's game.
