That's the typical 3C price we're seeing around the league.
Roslovic has had an interesting history. He is 29, very young for UFAs of value this year, and he is originally from Columbus, OH. He played in the Blue Jackets youth teams, but was drafted by Winnipeg. It didn't take long before he moved to his hometown team, and then in 2024, he was traded to the Rangers at the deadline. He's moved from team-to-team since then, and took a very late, very lowball contract last season after holding out too long.
He is more offensively focused than your usual defence-first depth guy, and he had terrible defensive results in Edmonton. Shocking. His primary value is transition skills, crucially, per the HockeyViz model and some real offence creation. He has some personal shooting skill as well.
He is also a right-shooting centre, of value on a team with two lefties at the top of the depth chart.
