Update, all players cleared.

The Maple Leafs have made their first formal cuts from training camp, waiving Travis Boyd, Bo Groulx and Vinni Lettieri. All three were added this summer with the expectation they would play in the AHL.

It's fairly unusual for the Leafs to make cuts ahead of the main groups near the end of camp, and it's very unlikely any of these players are claimed. A big group is on waivers today:

Teams have until 2 pm tomorrow to make claims, and the claim priority is the reverse order of last season's standings (not the first round draft order).

In practical terms, if the three players clear they report... to the same place they were today, they just have different shirts on.
