Good morning Toronto Maple Leafs fans!

It's the start of a long, long, two weeks without a Leafs game. It's absolutely disgusting.

We can turn our attention to the other teams I suppose. There's plenty of their games to go around.

The Marlies have five games while the Leafs are off. Next up is Wednesday Feb. 12, and it's the school day game! 11AM vs the Syracuse Crunch.

Schedule

They're in Belleville for Valentine's Day, taking on the Senators. Coming home the next night in a hockey convoy with Belleville to play at home on the 15th.

Monday, Feb 17 is another big weekday afternoon game for the Marlies as they're hosting the Laval Rocket at 2PM at Scotiabank Arena for the annual Family Day game.

The final Leafs-less game day for the Marlies is Friday, Feb 21 when they head to Syracuse to play the Crunch.

All games are available for streaming on AHL TV.

The Toronto Scepters will be there for you as well. They start watering out drought on Tuesday (Feb 11) by hosting the Minnesota Frost at 7PM.

Friday night they're hosting the Boston Fleet, before hitting the road for several away games.

Sunday the 16th they are in Ottawa, then it's off to New York for a game against the Sirens on Wednesday the 19th.

All the games will be on TSN, except Tuesday the 11th, which will be on Amazon Prime.

There's plenty of big league hockey to fill the holes, or we can take a break and catch up on some good TV. Or speak to our loved ones, get to know them. See how their winter has gone.

Or, hang here and click these links.

With no games last night for some reason, we're bereft of news, and all we'll be getting for the next two weeks is trade deadline speculation, as Cathy noted yesterday,

Winnipeg isn't know for airports, but it does have a hold on Lunar New Year hockey. From CBC Winnipeg:

"As somebody who didn't get to start playing hockey until their adult years, it's great to play organized hockey because I never got to experience this when I was young," said team White Snake goalie Ray Camphu on Sunday.
Barriers related to not speaking English as a first language, financial security and having knowledge of the sport prevented him from playing hockey at a young age, he said.
Camphu, who is Laotian, grew up in Edmonton where he says there was little to no outreach for Asian youth interested in hockey. He wasn't able participate in hockey until his 20s.
