With two games to start the week, the Leafs are looking for reinforcements.

Last night the Marlies lost to the Senators 4-2. Dakota Joshua, on a conditioning stint, played, but Cade Webber, also reportedly assigned to the team on a conditioning loan did not.
The Leafs did not practice yesterday ahead of the game tonight vs San Jose, so we can't guess if Lettieri will play or if he's just there as the extra now that Miles Wood is also hurt.

Catching you up if you took the weekend off:
John Tavares is week-to-week which officially means up to six weeks off. Miles Wood was hurt in an undisclosed way on the road trip and is day-to-day on IR. Joshua, as mentioned, is with the Marlies.
They have 13 forwards and seven defenders not on some form of IR right now.
Another in what will be an endless run of "the Leafs should get this guy" articles:

It's a flashback to the old days when every guy on waivers was going to be an upgrade and every bad team player would be on the trading block.
Speaking of waivers, Aatu Räty is making some small waves on the Marlies, and has to be in consideration as one of the players they try in the NHL as the weeks without Tavares drag on.
That is all that's going on so far. The preview will be out later. Have the best Monday you can manage, everyone.
